According to the Hoy No Circula program of Mexico City, this Tuesday, January 28, vehicles with a pink sticker, license plates ending in 7 and 8, and hologram 1 or 2, must remain at home in all 16 boroughs of the capital. This measure also applies in 18 surrounding municipalities of the State of Mexico.
Regarding the possibility of implementing a double Hoy No Circula for this Tuesday, the Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe) has not issued an alert for pollution, so this measure will not be carried out. The program is activated only in cases of environmental contingency to reduce pollution.
The vehicles that will be allowed to circulate this Tuesday, January 28, are electric and hybrid cars, those with ecological license plates or exempt holograms, vehicles with hologram "00" or "0", as well as private cars of healthcare workers with a valid ID and ambulances.
Additionally, school and staff transport vehicles, those designated for funerals and funeral services, cars for people with disabilities with a permit to exempt from Hoy No Circula, public service vehicles for passengers and tourism that meet the corresponding verifications, as well as motorcycles with a valid Tourist Pass granted by the Secretary of the Environment, will also be allowed to circulate. Vehicles with red, blue, yellow, and green stickers are also exempt.
